Chera and Ian Hart Wedding

This weekend I had to wonderful pleasure of shooting the wedding of Chera and Ian Hart. In talking to them they wanted me to know it was not only their special day but it was also their children's special day. The whole wedding party was made up of their children and their niece (pictured above), and the love and attention they showed to them was an example of caring, warm and attentive parents. Children were on the center stage at this special day. More to come.

Sandie and Derek Dureka are one of the most outgoing couples I have ever met. One of the first things that Sandie said to me when we were setting up her wedding photos was "Ben, have you heard of this thing called Trash the Dress? I want to do that so bad." Derek and Sandie love the outdoors and I thought we would go to the rock park at St. Peters Village in Chester County and get soaking wet among the huge boulders left there by a glacier that carved out the valley. I love this image. Its like artwork. Derek and Sandie you guys are great!

Julie Crowne and Patrick McName Wedding

I would have to say that I just went to one of best weddings I have ever attended personally or professionally. Julie Crowne and Patrick McName have friends and family that REALLY know how to have a good time. They had their reception at Finnigans Wake in Philadelphia and I don't think anyone stopped dancing until the place shut down. Photographing their wedding and reception was such a great time, and Julie and Pat were so easy going. You know you have a good group when the groom's mom gives you a big kiss on the cheek and thanks you for being part of their special day. When I left after the party I felt like I needed to change my last name to McName!

One of the things I love most about shooting weddings is the raw emotion people have. Everyone attending is there to have fun and celebrate. The brides look beautiful, the grooms are the kings of the day and all the guests are going to have a wonderful time. Great photos are everywhere.
